Freshly grated cheese, potato and chunky onion, in handmade pastry crimped by hand. Vegetarian, and the pasty that wins over people who thought they did not like pasties. Made from scratch in our Halifax bakery, seven days a week. Free-range meat from Oulton's in Windsor, Nova Scotia; local and Canadian ingredients wherever we can get them.
I moved to Nova Scotia last year from Ontario where locally I had lots of Brit shops. I was worried about getting my fix when moving here but happy to say your shop has . Everything I need. I am a regular shopper with my wife even with the hour commute, I pick up your pies at Withrows when in a pinch but we come in for our pantry needs and the cheese and onion pasties which are to die for. Bravo .
How to heat it
Oven or air fryer until piping hot right through. Skip the microwave: it makes the pastry soggy.
