British Simpkins in Canada

Some sweets are made for sharing round a car on a long drive, and some end up rattling about in a coat pocket for months. Simpkins manages to cover both. This collection brings together the Simpkins travel sweets and drops people remember from glove boxes, handbags and grandparents' sideboards, with classics like Barley Sugar, Butterscotch, Blackcurrant and Mixed Fruit alongside Rhubarb & Custard, Caramint Drops, Coffee Flavoured Drops and the rather honestly named Hangover Drops. There are 22 to choose from, all shipped from Canada by The Great British Shop.

Old favourites and proper sweet shop flavours

This is where most people start. Barley Sugar and Butterscotch are the slow, comforting sort of boiled sweet that lasts a whole chapter of a book, while Rhubarb & Custard does exactly what you hope it will. Blackcurrant, Mixed Fruit, Forest Fruits and Tropical Fruit keep the fruit side well stocked, and Mixed Mint Drops and Caramint Drops look after anyone who prefers something cooler after a meal or on a cold walk.

Ginger, citrus, camomile and a bit more character

Simpkins also has a more interesting side. Warming Ginger and Mandarin & Lime with Ginger bring a gentle bit of heat, Lemon, Honey & Camomile is a soothing choice for winter evenings, and Citrus Lemon & Sour Cherry, Orange, Lemon & Grapefruit and Apple, Raspberry & Cranberry give the fruit range some sharpness. Mulled Wine Travel Sweets are worth a look when the weather turns. For anyone cutting back on sugar, there are sugar free versions of Mixed Fruit, Forest Fruits, Tropical Fruit and Citrus Ginger, so the habit can carry on with a little less guilt.

Simpkins sweets shipped across Canada

We ship across the country, so a few tins of Barley Sugar can find their way to Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax and Dartmouth, or out to Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, Winnipeg, Kitchener, Moncton and St. John's without a long search through specialty shops. Whether you are restocking the car, putting together a small gift for someone who misses British sweets, or adding a couple to a bigger order of chocolate, biscuits and crisps, this collection makes it easy to get Simpkins delivered across Canada.
