Order here from the UK and we deliver from our shop in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to any address in Canada. It is a Canadian parcel, so there are no customs forms, no duty and no Canada Post handling fee for your family to pay.
Will my family have to pay duty or fees?
No duty and no handling fee. Canadian sales tax applies to some items (sweets, crisps, soft drinks) and is shown at checkout.
How much can I send to Canada as a gift without duty?
A gift posted to someone in Canada is free of duty and tax up to CAN$60. It must be sent personally by a friend or relative with a card saying it is a gift. Above CAN$60, duty and tax are charged on the amount above CAN$60. A parcel sent by a UK shop usually does not count as a gift.
Can I pay with a UK card? What currency?
Pay with your UK card and put their address in Canada at checkout. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and your bank converts them.
How long does delivery take?
After we dispatch it from Halifax: 1 to 4 business days to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Ontario; 1 to 6 to Newfoundland and Labrador, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta; and 1 to 7 to British Columbia. Can I add a gift message? Will they see the prices?
The basket’s “Make this a gift” option has a message box for up to 200 characters and a “Hide prices on the packing slip” checkbox.
What can’t I post to Canada from the UK?
From the UK, meat products cannot come in by mail or courier. That includes sausages, cured meats, and pies or pasties with meat. Beef suet cannot be posted. Biscuits, cakes, sweets, chocolate and snacks are allowed if they contain no meat. See Canada’s food import rules.
Can they collect from your shop in Halifax?

Do you send fresh pies from your bakery?
No. Fresh bakery and frozen meats are for the Halifax shop only.
