Every steak pie we make starts the same way: steak cooked in our rich beef gravy. Here the Guinness goes into the gravy itself, which is where it belongs. Dark, rich and deeply savoury: the pie we bake most, and the one people ask for by name. Made from scratch in our Halifax bakery, seven days a week. Free-range meat from Oulton's in Windsor, Nova Scotia; local and Canadian ingredients wherever we can get them.
Called in today for a steak and Guinness pie and gotta say that it looked so tasty and well made. The blonde lady who served me (Carol) knew what she was talking about and such great banter from her and a cheerful manner. I certainly recommend this place to anyone who likes food and drinks from the UK, there is no doubt that I will call again.
How to heat it
Our pies come fully baked and the fillings are already cooked, so you are reheating, not cooking. From chilled: air fryer about 10 to 15 minutes, or oven about 30 to 35 minutes at 365°F. Heat until piping hot right through. Times vary by appliance. Skip the microwave: it makes the pastry soggy.
