About Cadbury Dairy Milk Large Hollow Santa

About Cadbury Dairy Milk Large Hollow Santa

Every year the chocolate Santa stands on the sideboard looking pleased with himself, and every year somebody has his head off before lunch.

He is the Cadbury Dairy Milk Large Hollow Santa, a proper chocolate Father Christmas, and he does not last long.

If you grew up with a British Christmas, you know the routine. Selection box before breakfast, tin round the sofa after dinner, Santa on guard until someone cracks. Head first, usually. Nobody ever admits to it.

He is the UK one, Dairy Milk as you remember it, and he ships from within Canada. So Christmas in Canada gets its Santa after all.

Frequently asked questions about Cadbury Dairy Milk Large Hollow Santa

Q: How big is he?

A: He is the large hollow Santa, 100g of Dairy Milk. Big enough to argue over, small enough that someone will finish him in one sitting.

Q: Is he a good Christmas gift for someone who misses home?

A: Very much so. He goes in a stocking, on a plate at Christmas dinner or in a parcel of British Christmas food, and he gets the same reaction every time: a grin, then a snapped-off head.

Q: What goes well with him?

A: Most people pair him with other Cadbury Christmas favourites, like a selection box or a tin of Roses. Between them, Boxing Day is sorted.

More about Cadbury Dairy Milk Large Hollow Santa

A hollow chocolate figure is part of a British Christmas the way crackers are. Nobody strictly needs one. Everybody notices when it is missing. And Dairy Milk is the chocolate a lot of British families quietly measure everything else against.

The search usually starts in November. Someone remembers the Santa on the windowsill at their nan's, then realises their own kids have never had one. A taste of home at Christmas does not have to be a whole dinner. Sometimes it is one chocolate man with a smug face.

He is a large hollow figure, 100g of Dairy Milk, which makes him a good weight for the top of a stocking or a small gift on someone's plate at Christmas dinner. Keep him somewhere cool and well away from the radiator. A warm Santa is a sad Santa.

People tend to buy him alongside the rest of the Cadbury Christmas line-up, a selection box for the stocking or a tin of Roses for after the pudding. If you are putting together a parcel for someone who misses home, he is the one they will spot first.
