M&S Percy Pig & Pals - 170g

Percy Pig is as much a part of the M&S food hall as the sandwich chiller. He is the sweet that rarely survives the walk back to the car, and the bag that turns up in lunchboxes, glove compartments and the drawer of every office desk in Britain.

Once you have moved away, Percy becomes something you search for by name. Usually it starts when a visitor from home was meant to bring a bag and forgot, and you realise how much you were counting on it.

This is the 170g bag, which is a sharing bag in theory. Keep it sealed in a cool, dry cupboard and it will wait patiently for film night, a long drive or a bad Tuesday. Once it is open, the cupboard stops being involved.

Percy has plenty of relatives in the M&S range, and he rarely travels alone. People tend to put him in the basket alongside other British sweets, a bar of something chocolatey and a box of proper tea for the evening it all gets eaten.
