Walkers Smokey Bacon - 6 Pack

In Britain, crisp flavours are practically a personality test, and smokey bacon has always been one of the big answers. It sits right up there with cheese and onion and salt and vinegar on every corner shop shelf, and people who pick it tend to stay loyal for life.

Here in Canada, it is the smell that gets people. Open a bag and you are back at a school dinner table or a pub with a sticky carpet. That is why it gets searched for by name: there is no point looking for something like it when you want that exact one.

The six pack gives you six individual bags in one multipack, which means one each for the week's lunches or, more honestly, three on Friday night. Keep them in a cool, dry cupboard and they sit happily until somebody finds them. Squashed between two slices of buttered white bread, they make a crisp sandwich worth defending.

Walkers makes the full line-up of British crisp flavours, so smokey bacon rarely travels alone. Most people who grab this one go straight back for cheese and onion, and a few arrange a proper tea with a can of something fizzy alongside.
