Online Gift Card - for our online shoppers❤️

Britain has a long, respectable habit of giving vouchers. The book token at a birthday, the envelope from an aunt who knew better than to guess your size. This is that, pointed at a cupboard full of home comforts.

People in Canada usually come looking for it when someone they love is far from where they grew up. Maybe it is a son in Calgary, a mum in Ottawa or a friend who still talks about proper squash. You want to send a taste of home without pretending to know which brand of tea they swear by.

The practical side is simple. It is an online gift card, made for our online shoppers, so it gets spent on the website on whatever they fancy. Nothing to wrap, nothing to melt in a parcel, and nothing to sit at the back of a drawer being polite about.

As for what it turns into, that is up to them. Tea and biscuits are the usual opening move, then chocolate, sauces and the crisps they have been thinking about since the plane landed.
