Crunch sits on the newsagent's rack in Britain with the other bars everybody knows by sight. Nobody needs it explained. You pick it up at the till with a paper and a pint of milk, and it is gone before you are home.

People in Canada go looking for it because it is the one they grew up with: the same name, the same snap, the bar from the shop at the end of the road. Some things you only notice you miss when you spot the wrapper again.
