M&S Percy Pig Reversy - 150g

Percy Pig lives in a very British corner of the sweet aisle, where a shop's own little character somehow became a national favourite. Ask anyone who has queued at an M&S till and they will have an opinion on him, usually a strong one.

There is no M&S food hall round the corner here, so the craving tends to turn up with nowhere to go. People search for him by name, often right after a friend posts a photo from a trip home with a bag in hand.

It is a 150g bag of chewy pig-shaped sweets, small enough for a desk drawer, a handbag or the glovebox. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, and clip it shut if you are the type who rations. Most people are not, and the bag knows it.

Percy has a whole family of spin-offs at M&S, and Reversy is one of the more cheerful members. He sits nicely in a parcel of British sweets for someone who misses home, or on the sofa next to you for a film you have already seen.
