Percy Pig is M&S's own sweet, and in Britain he is about as famous as a sweet gets. He sits by the tills in M&S food halls, jumps into baskets next to a sandwich and a drink, and has fans who are well past the age of admitting it.

In Canada there is no M&S on the high street to wander into, so people go looking. Usually it starts after a visit home, or when a child who was raised on the pink pigs asks where they went.
