Colin the Caterpillar is about as close as British food gets to a national mascot. He lives in the M&S food hall, a few shelves along from Percy Pig, and between them they have taken care of a fair share of the country's sweet tooth.

Here, there is no M&S food hall at the end of the street. So when someone in Canada fancies the sweets they used to grab on the way out of M&S, or wants Colin at a party without baking a caterpillar themselves, this is what they type in.

The 170g bag is a proper sharing size, so it goes round a film night, a car journey or a lunchbox week. Keep it sealed in a cool, dry cupboard and it waits patiently for you, which is more than can be said for whoever finds it.

People tend to pick these up with other M&S sweets, so the whole family gets their own bag and nobody has to share. That is the theory, anyway.
