Kinnerton Patrol Advent Calendar - 40g

In Britain the character advent calendar turns up in the shops long before anyone admits it is nearly Christmas. It sits at exactly a child's eye level, which is no accident, and most families end up with at least one stacked by the front door.

Here, the searching is usually done by parents who had one themselves and want the same morning ritual for their own kids, or by grandparents sending a bit of a British Christmas across the country. The calendar is the easy part. Persuading anyone to wait for the right door is not.

It is a 40g calendar, flat and light, so it slips into a parcel or leans against the wall without fuss. Keep it somewhere cool, away from radiators and sunny windowsills, and well out of reach of anyone who treats the dates as a rough guide.

Kinnerton makes character chocolate all year round, so the calendar is rarely the only one in the basket. People tend to add a selection box for Christmas morning and a few stocking fillers, and suddenly December is sorted.
