About Cadbury Milk Chocolate & Orange Twirl Special Gesture Egg

Easter Sunday has one rule: the egg comes before breakfast. The Cadbury Milk Chocolate & Orange Twirl Special Gesture Egg makes that rule very easy to follow.

It is a big, hollow Cadbury milk chocolate egg paired with Orange Twirl, those flaky folded fingers with orange running through them. The shell cracks, the Twirl crumbles down your jumper, and nobody minds in the slightest.

If you grew up in Britain, you know that Cadbury taste before it has properly reached your tongue. Hand this over on Easter morning and watch the room go quiet.

Frequently asked questions about Cadbury Milk Chocolate & Orange Twirl Special Gesture Egg

Q: Is this the UK version?

A: Yes, this is the British Cadbury egg made in the United Kingdom, and it ships from within Canada. The taste you remember, without the transatlantic suitcase.

Q: How big is it?

A: It weighs 241g, which is a Special Gesture egg doing exactly what the name promises. Big enough to share, if you are feeling generous.

Q: Is it a good gift for someone who misses home?

A: It is about the most British thing you can hand someone at Easter. Expect a long pause, then a very small thank you through a mouthful of Twirl.

Q: Will the egg arrive in one piece?

A: It comes boxed and is packed with care to give the shell the best chance. And if it does crack, it was only ever going to be broken into pieces anyway.

More about Cadbury Milk Chocolate & Orange Twirl Special Gesture Egg

In Britain the Easter egg aisle is practically a season of its own, and a Special Gesture egg is the one you buy when a small egg would look like you forgot. It is the egg for the person who matters, or for yourself, which also counts.

Twirl is one of those bars people from Britain miss quietly for years, and the orange one even more so. Finding it on a proper Cadbury Easter egg from the UK is exactly why people in Canada type the whole long name into a search bar and hope.

At 241g it is a generous egg, boxed so the shell stands a fighting chance. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, well away from the radiator. Most households crack it into pieces for sharing and keep the Twirl back for last, mostly so they can pretend there was never any Twirl at all.

Cadbury does Easter better than most, so this one tends to end up in a basket alongside Creme Eggs and a bag of Mini Eggs. One egg was never really the plan.
