Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Wonderland Chocolate Bar - 100g

In Britain, Dairy Milk is the bar people quietly measure every other chocolate against. The winter editions belong to the run-up to Christmas, sitting on the shelves beside the selection boxes and the big tins, and they vanish again just as quietly in the new year.

People in Canada go looking for it because of where it sits in the memory: the corner shop on a dark afternoon, the bar in the stocking, the squares handed round on Boxing Day while the telly does its thing. It tastes like a UK Christmas because, for a lot of people, it was one.

It is a proper 100g bar, big enough to share and small enough not to have to. It breaks cleanly into squares, so a fair split is possible, in theory. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, well away from the radiator, and it will hold its shape until someone finds it.

It sits happily alongside the rest of the Cadbury family: a plain Dairy Milk for the everyday, a Twirl or a Flake for the purist, Buttons for the smallest person in the house. Tucked into a parcel with a card, it says more than the card does.
