Nestle Polo Mints were introduced way back in 1948 and during those early dark years of production they didn’t actually have a hole in the centre (hard to believe and even harder to accept).

In 1955 Rowntrees finally got their act together and introduced the all-important hole - the rest is history. Polos are as popular today as ever; an incredible 20 million Polos are produced every day!
