Cadbury Mini Eggs Giant Inclusion Egg - 507g

A Cadbury egg is as much a part of a British Easter as hot cross buns and a bank holiday drive to somewhere it is raining. Mini Eggs, in their pastel shells, are the ones people get properly territorial about.

People in Canada go looking for this egg because it is the one they remember: the British Cadbury, the egg from the corner shop shelf, the one that was waiting on the table every spring. One crack and you are seven again, in your pyjamas, being told not to spoil your lunch.

It is a big one, over half a kilo of chocolate, so it has a fighting chance of outlasting the long weekend if you show some restraint. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, well away from a sunny windowsill, and break it into chunks rather than tackling the dome head on.

It goes nicely with a bag of plain Mini Eggs for the person who refuses to share, or a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk for whoever opened the egg on Good Friday and is now pretending they did not.
