Rowntree's Berry Hearts Giant Tube - 100g

Rowntree's is the fruity end of the British sweet shelf. Fruit Pastilles, Randoms and Jelly Tots all live there, and Berry Hearts sit right alongside them: small, bright and gone far too quickly.

People in Canada go looking for these because the name means something. It was the tube rattling in a school bag, the one in the coat pocket on a long car journey, the one you were told to share with your brother and very nearly did.

The giant tube holds 100g, which is a decent amount of hearts for one person and a reasonable amount for two who get on. It slips into a bag, a glovebox or a desk drawer, and keeps happily in a cool, dry cupboard until someone finds it. Someone always finds it.
