Moo Free Gluten & Dairy Free Milk Chocolate Advent Calendar - 70g

In a British house the advent calendar is the opening act of Christmas. It goes up on the first of the month, gets propped on the mantelpiece or the fridge, and turns every morning into a small ceremony before school.

In Canada it is one of the things people go looking for when they want December to feel like it used to. Some buy it for children who have never had a British Christmas and ought to. Others send it as a Christmas gift for someone who misses home and will know exactly what it is the moment the parcel opens.

It is a slim, light calendar, 70g in all, so it stands happily on a shelf and does not take over the room. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from the radiator, and ideally out of reach of the sibling who likes to check the doors in advance.

Moo Free makes chocolate for the other big British occasions too, Easter included. The calendar tends to go home alongside a selection box, a few stocking fillers and whatever else is needed to make the Christmas cupboard look right.
