Fox's Classic Biscuit Selection - 550g

In Britain, a biscuit selection is a household institution. It lives on a high shelf, it comes down for guests, and it is how you can tell whether the visit is a proper one or a quick hello on the doorstep.

People in Canada go looking for this one by name because a biscuit selection is personal. It is the assortment from your nan's sideboard, the one opened when the relatives came round, and the layout of it is still in your head years later.

The 550g size is a generous family selection, enough for a houseful of tea drinkers or one person with no self-control and a long weekend. Keep it in a cool, dry cupboard and close it properly after each raid, because a soft biscuit is a sad biscuit. Put it out on a plate with a pot of tea and watch it go.

Fox's is the Yorkshire name behind plenty of British biscuit tins and packets. A box of proper British tea bags is the natural companion, since nobody opens a selection like this without the kettle already on.
