marks-and-spencer-shorties-shortcake-biscuits-300g
M&S Shorties Shortcake Biscuits - 300g

There is a particular kind of British biscuit that does not try very hard to impress you, and that is precisely why it works. M&S Shorties Shortcake Biscuits are that biscuit: a proper shortcake with the crumbly, buttery texture that makes a cup of tea feel like a considered decision rather than a habit.

This is the 300g pack of M&S Shorties, imported from the United Kingdom and available here in Canada without anyone having to smuggle them over in a suitcase. Shortcake sits in a very specific corner of the British biscuit tin, somewhere between a plain digestive and a proper shortbread, and M&S have long had a reliable version of it.

For British expats, M&S biscuits carry a particular kind of weight. They are the sort of thing that appeared on a plate without fanfare at someone's kitchen table, or came out of a tin at Christmas that nobody quite finished but everyone kept returning to. The Great British Shop stocks them here in Canada so that the biscuit tin does not have to be a memory.

If shortcake is new to you, it is worth knowing that it sits closer to a crumbly, rich butter biscuit than anything cakey. It is not fussy. It goes with tea. It goes with coffee. It goes with standing at the kitchen counter and not really thinking about it, which is arguably the highest compliment a biscuit can receive.

Shop more M&S in Canada or browse the full range of British biscuits available to ship across Canada.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0520/2152/6714/files/ms-shorties-shortcake-biscuits-300g-british-groceries-canada-7447965.webp?v=1793623866
