A Nutritious Breakfast Oats are a nutritious warming food that are high in fibre, low in salt, sugar and saturated fat. Flahavan's deliciously creamy Quick Oats contains all the natural wholegrain goodness of Flahavan's porridge oats.
From Our Family to Yours We at Flahavan's have been milling quality oats for over 200 years at the family mill beside the River Mahon in Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford. We believe that a great day starts with the goodness of a bowl of porridge. John Flahavan Environment and Sustainability At Flahavan's, we are committed to sustainable production that protects the environment and our community. We burn the outer shell of the oat to fuel the boiler which generates steam used in the cooking process of the oats. We also use water from the original millstream at the River Mahon to generate electricity to help power the mill.
